Commercial/Private organizations are also encouraged to support this effort with both funding and resources. Shangri-la Art Gallery, a private company is YLDP’s first supporter among the commercial sector.

The year-long program, funded by sponsors gives selected candidates exposure to high profile successful individuals in the Houston community who will share their experiences with the group and provide much needed guidance in the area of future interests and goals.
The YLDP program is planning exciting internship opportunities for selected candidates. The hands-on experience would be a value-add to their college admission’s process. Observing our political elected local members, joining events at non-profit associations, or listening to a CEO’s achievements are some of the opportunities that this program will offer its candidates. The program will recognize the graduates of the program with cash awards and social recognition with local leaders
