I hereby agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless the India Culture Center, Houston, and the “History of India” Parade Committee, Director, their members, agents and employees from and against all claims, damages, loses and expenses including reasonable attorney’s fee in any lawsuit, claim or action arising out of the activities, operations, functions, facilities, equipment and locations associated with the “History of India” Parade and my child’s participation in this program. India Culture Center and/or “History of India” Parade Committee reserve the right to disqualify any contestant and/or contestant’s family for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Program Rules:

Please mark your calendars for Rehearsals on August 12th, 13th, 14th, & 15th
Anyone between 6 to 20 years old can participate in the parade.
Your child will be assigned a group according to their age & availability of the Costume Character.
Each group will be assigned a song. Parade is choreographed by ICC Directors.
Complete Guidance & Suggestions for Costume & Character will be given by ICC Directors.
Parents have an option to choose a character for their Child as long as it is not already taken.
Costume Character will be served on a first come first basis.
Duplication in costumes is not permitted.
Parents are responsible for their children & their costume.
Costume is not provided by ICC. Parents are responsible for their children’s costume.
Due to overwhelming response from the community to participate in the Parade, there will be no last
minute entries.

Rehearsals Date, Time: August 12th, 13th, 14th, & 15th at 6:00 PM
Rehearsal Location: Will be confirmed to you after we receive your participation form.

By signing this form I agree to abide by the rules set forth by the “History of India” Parade Committee and Director. In consideration of acceptance of this entry, I waive and release any and all claims for myself and my heirs against any member of the “History of India” Parade Committee and India Culture Center, Houston and sponsors of the Program
for any injury or illness resulting for my participation in this event.
